Frequently asked questions

How does The Ref save my games?

Everything saves automatically on your device as you play — scores, player names, and stats. If you close the app or your phone restarts mid-game, your game will be right where you left it when you reopen The Ref.

Where do I find past wins and stats?

Tap the trophy icon on the Welcome screen. Rankings only shows games that have at least one recorded result.

How do I reset my stats?

You can reset all recorded stats and win history from either the Rankings screen or Settings (gear icon). This only clears win/loss history — it doesn't affect a game currently in progress.

Can I favorite a game so it's easier to find?

Yes — tap the star on any game card on the Welcome screen. Favorited games move to the top of the list.

Does The Ref work on iPad?

Yes, The Ref supports both iPhone and iPad.

Does The Ref collect any of my data?

No. Everything stays on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.
